OPNIION Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of These Terms
Welcome to OPNIION.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OPNIION mobile application and related services (the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using OPNIION, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.
2. About OPNIION
OPNIION is a social platform that enables users to:
Ask questions;
Compare options;
Create debates;
Collect ratings;
Gather opinions from communities, followers, or selected contacts.
OPNIION is designed to facilitate the exchange of opinions and feedback between users.
The Service does not provide professional advice and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of opinions shared through the platform.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use OPNIION.
If the laws of your country require parental or guardian consent, you must obtain such consent before using the Service.
By using OPNIION, you represent and warrant that you satisfy the applicable age requirements.
4. User Accounts
Certain features require an account.
Users may register using methods made available by OPNIION, including:
Email and password;
Sign in with Apple;
Sign in with Google;
Other authentication methods introduced in the future.
You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials;
Securing access to your account;
Activities occurring under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and keep it reasonably up to date.
5. Usernames, Pseudonyms and Multiple Accounts
Users may use:
Pseudonyms;
Nicknames;
Online identities.
Users may not impersonate:
Another person;
A company;
A brand;
An organization;
Any other entity in a misleading or deceptive manner.
Users may maintain multiple accounts, provided such accounts are not used to:
Manipulate results;
Mislead users;
Circumvent restrictions;
Evade enforcement actions;
Harass others;
Spam the Service;
Violate these Terms.
Usernames may be changed through features made available by OPNIION.
6. Profile Visibility
Users may choose between public and private profiles.
Private profiles do not fully conceal profile information.
Depending on the functionality available at a given time, other users may still be able to see information such as:
Username;
Display name;
Profile photo;
Biography;
Follower counts;
Following counts;
Post counts;
Contribution statistics.
Access to published content may be restricted based on profile settings and audience eligibility.
7. Content Audiences
OPNIION currently supports multiple audience types.
Public
Visible to eligible users of the Service.
Followers
Visible only to approved followers.
For private profiles, follow requests may require approval before access is granted.
Anonymous
Visible to eligible users while concealing the author's identity from other users.
Anonymous content remains identifiable by OPNIION for moderation, security, support, and legal purposes.
Anonymous posting does not exempt users from compliance with these Terms.
Selected Contacts
Visible only to recipients selected by the author.
Selected Contacts content is intended to remain private within the Service but may still be shared outside the Service by recipients.
8. Selected Contacts Contributions
For Selected Contacts posts:
The author may see participant identities;
The author may see votes;
The author may see ratings;
The author may see comments.
Participants cannot see:
Other participants' identities;
Other participants' votes;
Other participants' ratings;
Other participants' comments.
By participating in a Selected Contacts post, you acknowledge and accept this visibility model.
9. Ownership of Content
Users retain ownership of content they create and publish through OPNIION.
This includes:
Text;
Images;
Questions;
Posts;
Comments;
Other user-generated content.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of user content to OPNIION.
10. License Granted to OPNIION
By submitting content to OPNIION, you grant OPNIION a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
Host;
Store;
Process;
Reproduce;
Display;
Distribute;
Make available;
Adapt technically;
for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, securing, promoting, and providing the Service.
This license terminates when content is removed from the Service, except where retention is reasonably necessary for:
Security;
Fraud prevention;
Auditing;
Legal compliance;
Platform integrity;
Backup systems.
11. Rights to Content
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you possess the necessary rights, permissions, and authorizations to publish content through OPNIION.
You must not upload content that infringes:
Copyright;
Trademark rights;
Privacy rights;
Personality rights;
Other legal rights.
12. Results and Opinions
Results displayed on OPNIION reflect user interactions and opinions.
Results may be based on:
Votes;
Ratings;
Participation data;
Future AI-assisted synthesis tools.
Results do not constitute:
Objective truth;
Professional advice;
Medical advice;
Legal advice;
Financial advice;
Psychological advice;
Expert recommendations.
Users remain solely responsible for decisions made based on information available through the Service.
13. Availability of Results
Certain results may become available only after:
Participation in a post;
Satisfaction of eligibility requirements;
Achievement of a minimum participation threshold.
Selected Contacts posts may provide results without minimum thresholds.
OPNIION may modify result visibility rules, participation requirements, thresholds, and audience settings as the Service evolves.
14. Artificial Intelligence
OPNIION may use artificial intelligence and automated systems to:
Categorize content;
Improve content discovery;
Assist moderation;
Detect abuse;
Organize information;
Generate summaries or syntheses;
Improve platform functionality.
AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies and should not be treated as authoritative.
Final moderation, suspension, or account termination decisions are not made solely by automated systems.
15. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse others;
Publish hate speech;
Publish unlawful content;
Publish sexually explicit content prohibited by our policies;
Publish content promoting violence;
Spam the Service;
Interfere with platform operations;
Attempt unauthorized access to systems;
Circumvent restrictions;
Violate applicable laws.
16. Manipulation of Results
Users may not artificially influence outcomes on OPNIION.
Prohibited conduct includes:
Vote manipulation;
Coordinated inauthentic activity;
Vote exchanges intended to distort results;
Fake engagement;
Use of bots or automation;
Creation of accounts intended to manipulate outcomes.
OPNIION may remove content, invalidate activity, or suspend accounts involved in manipulation.
17. Screenshots and Sharing
OPNIION cannot prevent users from:
Taking screenshots;
Recording content;
Copying information;
Sharing content outside the Service.
Users share content through OPNIION at their own discretion and risk.
Sharing features may include deep links and other formats introduced in future versions of the Service.
18. Reporting and Moderation
Users may report:
Content;
Accounts;
Conduct.
OPNIION may investigate reports and take actions including:
Content removal;
Content restriction;
Feature limitations;
Account suspension;
Account termination;
User disabling.
OPNIION is not obligated to host, preserve, maintain, or continue displaying any particular content.
Moderation decisions may be made at OPNIION's discretion to protect users, the Service, and legal compliance.
19. Appeals
Users who believe moderation action was taken in error may contact:
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee reversal of a moderation decision.
20. Account Suspension and Termination
OPNIION may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to:
Protect users;
Protect the Service;
Prevent abuse;
Prevent fraud;
Enforce these Terms;
Comply with legal obligations.
Accounts terminated by OPNIION may lose access to all or part of the Service.
21. Deleted Posts and Deleted Accounts
Deleted posts are generally removed from visibility and are no longer accessible through the Service.
Content associated with deleted accounts is generally removed from availability within the Service and is no longer accessible to other users.
Certain records may continue to exist internally for limited periods where necessary for:
Security;
Fraud prevention;
Auditing;
Legal compliance;
Platform integrity.
OPNIION does not automatically delete inactive accounts.
22. Service Availability
OPNIION may experience:
Maintenance periods;
Technical failures;
Outages;
Interruptions;
Performance issues.
We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free availability of the Service.
23. Future Features
OPNIION may introduce additional features in the future, including:
Advertising;
Premium features;
Paid subscriptions;
Monetization tools;
Enhanced sharing capabilities;
Additional audience settings;
AI-assisted functionality.
The introduction of such features may require updates to these Terms.
24. Platform Requirements
Users are responsible for complying with the requirements, terms, and policies applicable to the platform through which they access OPNIION, including the Apple App Store and Google Play Store where applicable.
25. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OPNIION disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties relating to:
Availability;
Reliability;
Accuracy;
Fitness for a particular purpose;
Non-infringement.
26. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OPNIION shall not be liable for:
Indirect damages;
Consequential damages;
Loss of profits;
Loss of opportunities;
Loss of data;
Decisions made based on opinions, ratings, votes, or results available through the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
27. Changes to the Service and Terms
OPNIION may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update any part of the Service at any time.
We may also modify these Terms from time to time.
Material changes may be communicated through the Service.
Continued use of OPNIION after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
