How do votes work?
People can respond to posts by choosing an option or giving a rating, depending on the post format. Results may appear after enough responses are collected, except for selected contacts posts where private results are available to the author.
What is an Open Question?
An Open Question lets eligible people answer in their own words instead of choosing from predefined options. OPNIION brings together the contributions to show the collective trend.
Can I edit or delete an Open Question response?
You can edit your response while the question is open. You can delete your own response even after collection has ended. A deleted response is excluded from future collective summaries.
How does the collective view evolve?
The collective view can evolve as new contributions are received. The app shows the latest available view of the responses.
How are collective views kept useful and safe?
OPNIION uses moderation and safety mechanisms so dangerous, prohibited, or clearly offensive content is not included in collective views. A collective view reflects the contributions received; it is not a statement of truth, scientific result, or professional advice.
Who can see Open Question responses?
For Selected Contacts, the author can review invited participants' individual responses. Participants do not see one another's individual responses, but eligible contributors may see the collective summary. For other audiences, the author receives aggregated results rather than individual response identities. After the author ends collection, no new responses can be submitted; existing respondents can still delete their own response.
Are anonymous posts really anonymous?
Anonymous posts are designed to hide the author identity from other users in public discovery contexts. OPNIION still keeps internal records needed for safety, moderation, and legal reasons.
What are selected contacts?
Selected contacts are specific people chosen by the author to respond to a private post. Their response and optional private comment are visible only in the intended private context.
How do I report content?
Use the report action in the app from a post or profile menu. Reports help us review content and keep OPNIION safer.
How do I delete my account or data?
You can request account or data deletion from the app or through the Data Deletion Request page.
How do I contact support?
Use the support contact button and include your username, device/platform, and a short description of the issue.
