Welcome to OPNIION.
OPNIION ("OPNIION", "we", "our", or "us") is a social platform that allows users to ask questions, compare options, create debates, collect ratings, and receive opinions from communities, followers, or selected contacts.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly and transparently.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you use the OPNIION mobile application and related services (the "Service").
By creating an account or using OPNIION, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

3. Eligibility
OPNIION is intended for individuals aged 13 years or older.
If the laws of your country require parental or guardian consent for minors, you must obtain such consent before using the Service.

When you create or manage an account, we may collect:

4.4 Contact Discovery and Phone Numbers
OPNIION may offer contact discovery features to help users find friends who already use the Service.
Access to phone contacts is optional.
Contact permission is requested only when the user activates the contact discovery feature.
If the user grants permission, OPNIION may read the phone address book locally in order to compare certain phone numbers with existing OPNIION profiles.
The complete address book is not published in OPNIION.
The raw address book is not sent as-is to our servers.
Phone numbers may be normalized and transformed into technical identifiers or hashed values in order to perform matching with OPNIION profiles.
Contacts who are not registered on OPNIION are not stored on our servers as profiles or imported contacts.
When a contact matches an OPNIION profile, the Service may present that profile to the user, who can then choose whether or not to follow it.
Invitations to people who are not yet on OPNIION are sent through the phone's sharing options, such as the system share sheet.
For Selected Contacts invitations, OPNIION may use technical identifiers or hashed contact values to deliver and manage post-specific invitations.
Providing a phone number in an OPNIION profile is optional.
When provided, a phone number may be used to help other users find the corresponding profile through contact discovery.
The phone number is not displayed publicly on the profile.
Users can edit or remove their phone number from their profile.
4.5 Device and Technical Information

4.6 Geographic Information
OPNIION does not currently collect precise GPS location information.
We may collect or infer approximate geographic information, such as country or region, from technical information in order to:

6. Visibility of Contributions
The visibility of contributions depends on the type of post.
Public, Followers, and Anonymous Posts
For these audiences:
Individual votes are not visible to the author;
Individual ratings are not visible to the author;
Individual participant identities are not visible to the author.
Authors generally receive aggregated results only.
Selected Contacts Posts
For Selected Contacts posts:
The author may see the identity of invited participants;
The author may see individual responses;
The author may see ratings;
The author may see comments submitted by participants.
Participants cannot see the responses, votes, ratings, or comments of other participants.
7. Anonymous Posts
OPNIION allows users to publish content anonymously.
Anonymous posts conceal the author's identity from other users of the Service.
However, anonymous content is not anonymous to OPNIION.
Authorized personnel may access the identity of the author where reasonably necessary for:
Customer support
Security investigations
Abuse prevention
Content moderation
Legal compliance
Protection of users or the Service
We do not disclose the identity of anonymous authors except where required by law.
8. Selected Contacts Content
Selected Contacts posts are intended to be shared only with recipients selected by the author.
While OPNIION restricts visibility within the Service, we cannot prevent recipients from:
Taking screenshots
Recording content
Copying content
Sharing content outside the Service
Users should carefully consider what information they choose to share.
9. Results and Participation Thresholds
Certain results may only become available:
After participation in a post;
After eligibility requirements are met;
After a minimum participation threshold is reached.
Selected Contacts posts may provide results without minimum participation thresholds.
Result visibility rules may evolve as the Service develops.
10. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems
OPNIION may use artificial intelligence and automated systems to:
Categorize content
Improve content discovery
Assist moderation workflows
Improve platform safety
Detect suspicious activity
Future versions of OPNIION may also use AI-assisted systems to summarize, organize, or synthesize user contributions.
AI-generated outputs are intended to assist users and may not perfectly reflect every individual opinion.
Final moderation, suspension, or account termination decisions are not made solely by automated systems.
Human review remains part of enforcement decisions.

Deleted posts are generally removed from visibility and are no longer accessible through OPNIION.

16. Account Deletion
